Interpreneur's Journey

What is an Interpreneur?

The organizer of a new venture built around the Internet; one of the everyday people using eBay, Amazon and other online resources and changing how America does business.

An Interpreneur's Journey

Every day thousands of new Interpreneurs start web-based businesses -- men, women, young and old.  Most have never done anything like it before, but using easy-to-learn Internet tools and services, they are turning hobbies, avocations, lifetime experiences, and coveted ideas into money-making ventures.  It costs little to get started and many of them have turned fledgling companies into lucrative, full-time ventures.

Are you ready to become a New Interpreneur?

WELCOME!

Hello, my name is Tom Eckmann and I'd like to welcome you to the New Interpreneur website ... the place where people come to learn about starting a new business.

Every year more than half a million people take the plunge to pursue a dream and escape the world of lay-offs, bad bosses and dead-end jobs.  They are willing to invest their personal capital, put in long hours with little pay, and accept the risk of failure, all in hopes of catching a piece of the American dream and building a successful business of their own.

Today, there are more opportunities than ever to start new ventures, particularly using the Internet.  Armed with little more than a good idea and a credit card, people can create exciting new businesses and serve customers all over they world.  And with today's simplified Internet tools, you don't even need much technical expertise -- if you can use a personal computer and surf the web, you know enough to build and maintain an Internet-based business.

That's why I created this site -- to help Internet entrepreneurs plan and launch new businesses.  I have started and sold several ventures of my own, both online and physical companies, and have worked with dozens of other people to help them start theirs.  With the New Interpreneur Startup Guide and other resources on this website, I hope to help you and other new Interpreneurs start off on the right foot.

If you've spent much time on the web, you know there are hundreds of sites focused on how to start a business.  Many of them are quite well done and contain lots of useful information.  So I haven't tried to reinvent what's already been done; instead, I've sifted through the clutter and pointed you toward the best information available.

I've also gone a step further by summarizing the things you really need to know in each phase of a business startup.   This essential information is contained in a series of New Interpreneur guidebooks available exclusively on this website.  You can download these booklets in PDF format and have them available whenever they're needed.  These guidebooks will save you hours of research and needless false starts.  They will help you move more quickly toward your goal of getting into business and building a profitable company.

Again, I'd like to welcome you to the New Interpreneur website.  If you have questions or would like additional information, please don't hesitate to email me
