An entrepreneur by nature, Mr. Rebich frequently serves as a key member of a client’s founding management team, and has served as acting Chief Financial Officer or Chief Executive Officer for many companies during their startup and early operations.  He has served on numerous boards of directors, and has frequently assumed the role of corporate treasurer or secretary.  His typical services encompass all aspects of startup operations, including strategic planning, entity formation, management team coaching, training and recruiting.  He frequently assists in preparing business plans and financial forecasts, due diligence activities, and financing activities.  He is currently developing a series of training courses, through Tractionworks, focusing on the needs of entrepreneurs.

Mr. Rebich has extensive project management experience, having assisted a client with the creation and documentation of a “business process improvement” assessment project and implementation of the resulting process in many operational and financial areas.  A key focus of this process was an assessment of internal controls and implementation of enhancements.  He is currently working on a Sarbanes-Oxley Section 404 Internal Controls Assessment project for a public biotechnology entity.

A native of Montana, Mr. Rebich graduated from the University of Montana with “High Honors,” earning a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a minor in Mathematics.  He currently serves as an advisory board member of the Davidson Honors College at the University of Montana.

Mr. Rebich began his professional career in 1986 as a financial statement auditor with KPMG, working primarily with the KPMG office in Seattle (including a short-term secondment to the office in Auckland, New Zealand).  He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Washington Society of Certified Public Accountants (WSCPA).  He is also a member of the Northwest Entrepreneur Network, currently serving on the Evening Seminar Committee, and has previously served as a steering committee member for the Early Stage Investment Forum, chairing the sponsorship sub-committee.  Mr. Rebich has also served as a member of a national AICPA task force exploring alternative services provided by CPAs.
